New clients from Turkey!

While winter can be lonely for a small farm, we had the pleasant surprise of being contacted by local folks from Turkey who heard about our farm and pleaded with us to provide them with some fresh organic quince. They were happy to receive our fruit currently in cold storage. Custom has it that in their country, quince fruit is good for pregnancies!

We are nearing the end of the 2016 harvest. For the next two weeks before Thanksgiving, and EXCLUSIVELY at the Corvallis Farmers' Market, we are selling our fresh organic quince fruit at half the price. Only two Saturdays and two Wednesdays remain.

Last Harvest of Pineapple Quince

Most of our Russian and Turkish varieties have been harvested and are kept in cold storage. Currently harvesting Pineapple Quince variety through end of November.

Quince Essential once again at Corvallis Farmers' Market

Starting Saturday, October 22nd Quince Essential will once again have a stand at the Corvallis Farmers' Market (Oregon) every Saturday and Wednesday morning from 9am to 1pm. Quince Spread (Dulce de Membillo) will be available as well as fresh organic quince fruit (while supplies last).

Early Harvest for 2016!

Due to conditions created by climate change affecting the Willamette Valley of Oregon, we expect our 2016 harvest to begin around September 10, 2016. This means we will likely be shipping around the 15th and open at the Corvallis Farmers' Market on Wednesday, September 14th.

New Product for 2016!

In addition to our quince spread preserved in gift-perfect canning jars (shelf life over 1 year), this year we will be introducing a deli pack (BPA-free, recyclable plastic container) that requires refrigeration but reduces the cost to the client.
